SecureAI: Introduction to AI-ML Security

We are excited to announce that our R&D department is organizing an exclusive workshop for our students titled “SecureAI: Introduction to AI-ML Security.” This event is designed to introduce our students to the rapidly evolving field of AI-ML security, highlighting the importance of securing AI and machine learning systems in the current cybersecurity landscape.

Why is AI-ML Security So Demanding?

AI-ML security is challenging due to the complexity and opacity of AI models, especially deep learning systems, which makes it difficult to understand and identify potential vulnerabilities. These systems rely heavily on sensitive data, which must be safeguarded to prevent privacy breaches and misuse. Additionally, attackers can exploit flaws in AI models through techniques like adversarial attacks, leading to incorrect results or decisions. AI models can also unintentionally perpetuate biases present in their training data, necessitating efforts to ensure fairness and ethical use. The field of adversarial machine learning explores methods to deceive models, while integrating AI into larger systems requires comprehensive security to protect against vulnerabilities. The rapid evolution of AI technology demands that security measures continuously adapt to emerging threats, and increasing regulatory and ethical expectations add further complexity to securing AI systems.
